user panel disappear after update in 12.04

Hi:

After I do the update operation and restart,the user panel disappeared.

Note the top-right of the screen,I can not see the user/date/mail buttons.

What is the problem?

Install the gnome shell.

Your notification area applet disappeared. Alt + Right Click (or Super + Alt + Right Click if that doesn't work) where it should be, click add to panel, and add Notification Area.
