Upgraded to 12.04LTS and tried to set a few keyboard shortcuts. None worked.

For example I like to use the calcualtor a lot so I had the short cut sent up for "Super key" + "C" which worked in 10.10 but not 12.04.
I set some others up and they don't work either.

As the 'super' key is already used to call-up 'Dash' I don't think you can use it for other shortcuts. 'Super' plus 's' calls-up screenswitcher.
Ctrl+alt+t = terminal so I use ctrl+alt+b for browser and ctrl+alt+h for home. Those work fine.

Hope this helps?

You can very easily set the shortcuts in CCSM

You can very easily set the shortcuts in CCSM

You do not need Compiz to set key shortcuts. Simply go into system settings -> keyboards and switch to the tab shortcuts. There you can change them

Megaptera You are correct that the Super key mush have another function. I changed to Alt+c and that works. Just using the Super key does nothing. How does the Super key call up the Dash?

Sorry but I don't know how the 'super' key is wired up, glad the other idea worked though!
