I want to buy a new laptop, plus the monitor to it, with what gpu to buy a laptop?
Will it work on the hybrid graphics nvidia/amd?
Are there any problems with Unity3D?

Hello.

From my experience with laptops under Linux , I would stay away from nvidia cards with Optimus technology, because they simply don't work well (just yet).

If you could go to a show room, look for any laptops running Linux and test them a bit. Check the resolution , screen tearing, flash playback, temperature , and so on ..

I haven't tried the AMD graphic card on and laptop, but I do have one on my desktop and it runs as it should. Never had I had any problems with it.

P.S: I'm using only the Intel integrated graphics on my laptop and it works well ( I disabled my graphic card from Bios - nvidia GF 410m ).
