View Full Version : [ubuntu] Switching GPUs

Hi, I was wondering how I could switch to the other GPU in my laptop in Ubuntu. I checked in the Nvidia X server settings and it recognises them both as GPU 0 and GPU 1. It is currently using GPU 0 and I'm trying to make it use GPU 1 instead since the card is more powerful. My specs are that I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and the two graphic cards I'm talking about are the Nvidia Geforce 9100M G (GPU 0) and the Nvidia Geforce 9600M GS (GPU 1). Here is my xorg.conf file also if it's required:
