View Full Version : [lubuntu] Activating Card Reader on Toshiba 2400-S251

Running Ubuntu 11.04 with LXDE on an old laptop that has a card reader. I have the Windows drivers for the card reader and am not sure exactly how to go about getting it activated, configured, etc.

I only ever see ndiswrapper used for wireless card drivers (and I indeed used it for mine), but its description said that it can install any Windows drivers, so I tried installing the drivers with it. It reported to be successful and says that the device is present. A run of fdisk -l does not report any available disks other than the filesystem and my Windows NTFS filesystem. I've also tried some small fixes listed in other similar cases, like an addition to my GRUB configuration that didn't work.

I don't know what to do from here.
