View Full Version : [ubuntu] Printing nightmare

Hi,
I just upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin and was very impressed overall. However I can no longer print with my HP PSC 1215.
The prints pile up in the "pending" print manager and the printer just stays silent.
I was wondering if it had anything to do with the fact I am using the USA server for my updates? I switched to this server in Update Manager because I got impatient to get Precise Pangolin before it was on the European servers. I thought maybe the US version of Ubuntu would not recognise my printer (which was purchased in Spain actually.)
:lolflag:
Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

Thanks.
EDIT:
Installing potential solution hplip-3.12.4.run now.
EDIT:
Hi, that's great, works a treat.
