Usually with a file manager, but there are times when using a terminal is a little easier for me. And I don't just settle for one file manager.

I use either, depending on the situation.
I voted GUI, though, as that's what I use more often.

I use both. When I am compiling/building something then terminal is the way to go. Otherwise, I use the GUI for exploring files and folders.

Seems pretty obvious.

I use terminal. ls, locate, grep, sort, less, and connecting them via pipes. They're faster and more efficient.
The only exception is when I want to view a directory containing a lot of pictures, and I need to distinguish between them because I'm looking for one. Then I type
konqueror . (with dot.)
(actually, I just type
konqTAB .)
It feels so slugish using GUI managers, I can't stand it. I suffer when I have to do it at work. So much clicking is tiresome, not to mention it makes my hand hurt from repetitive movements. I can't use all 10 fingers I have with mouse.
