Hi all,
I'm trying to install Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop on my HP Pavilion g6, but it keeps freezing up. I run the windows installer, which seems to work fine, but once I reboot into Ubuntu it starts the installation and gets through a bunch of progress bars, but freezes after them with a window open that says "install" in the header. The mouse is the circular loading icon at this point. I've left it for a couple hours like this, but nothing has changed once I've gotten back to it.
Any ideas as to how I can fix this? or what is causing it?
Many thanks,
-T00
