Hello pangolins,

there must be a board on my forehead or its a broken gnome 3.2 resp. 3.4 ?!

In gnome classic it was no problem to save the desktop settings before logging out
resp. to save the startup programs ...

Since gnome 3.2 resp. 3.4 is installed this feature has gone ?
Even in gnome classic it disappeared when 3.2 resp. 3.4 came up.

There is no session manager to find !? Where on desktop is the session manager ?

For hint tuvm.

Not relevant, but may be of interest. "ein Brett vor dem Kopf haben" does not make any sense when literally translated into English. You would need to use some idiom like "Maybe I'm blind or stupid" or similar.
