Does anyone know where I can get some free web hosting that offers Python cgi support? PHP and SSI are both a plus as well. I tried TravisBSD (http://www.travisbsd.org), but they seem to be down or not accepting requests. I'd prefer no banners or popups, but I know that's rare. Does anyone have suggestions?

It's a bit late, but I found this by searching, so maybe someone else will too. :)

I'm assuming you want a host that offers services as opposed to a host that just gives you an OS? (If not, Slicehost (http://www.slicehost.com/questions/#distros) would be a good choice.)

Both GoDaddy (https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/hosting/shared.asp?ci=9009) and Bluehost (http://www.bluehost.com/tell_me_more.html) seem to offer Python support. I'm shopping now myself, so I can't speak to the quality of either's services, but there you have it.

I use Dreamhost because of their Virtual Host option, I use too much CPU it seems so I need that option. Bluehost looks awesome though, if I can cut down on CPU I might switch hosts, but I LOVE Dreamhost and the panel they use (custom).

Once upon a time I had silimiar problem. I needed a decent free Python hosting.

As suggested by http://pythonplugged.com/free-python-hosting/ I decided to use free trial on Webfaction.

Hope this will help developers in future.
