Hi!

I have a problem:
I installed Ubuntu 12.04 amd64, then start hardinfo to verify performance.

The test showed
CPU Blowfish
This Machine 2000 MHz 8,752
Intel (R) Celeron (R) M processor 1.50GHz 26.1876862
PowerPC 740/750 280.00MHz 172.816713

Then I compiled the kernel 3.3.7
processor family chose: Core2Duo
timer frequency set for 1000

The test results have not changed.
I tried to install Ubuntu 32 bit - the differences are small.

What could be the problem?
Maybe i need to select another Family Processor?

p.s. one day after the assembly of the core - the results were more than 45.00!
But I did not keep the settings ... :-(

My hardware:
intel core duo t4200
ati hd mobility 3650

The t4200 is a Penryn chip and is derived from Core 2 Duo architecture.

Yes, I know, but why i did not get a good performance?

Yesterday I installed the 4.0 kernel
The result of tests changed to 10.000
But still a bad system performance.

What other options are responsible for the performance of the system?
