I recently did a clean install of 12.04 on my Dell D620 and my Cd/Dvd burner will no longer burn. In fact I think it is ruining my disks. I thought it may be an issue with Brasaro so I installed K3b. When I put a new disk in, I get a "what do you want to do" prompt, so it recognizes that it is a blank cd/dvd. But with either application when I choose source and destination, there is an error telling me to insert the correct medium. They are the same type of disks I used two weeks ago on 10.10 with the K3b and Bresaro. Does this sound like a driver issue with my pc and 12.04? I thought I saw another thread with the same issue a few weeks ago but I couldn't bring it up on the forum search. Would anyone have an idea on my next trouble shooting step? Thanks in Advance!
