can a usb stick be used to install more than 1 iso file at a time I ask this because there is enoung room on the usb stick for 2 isos

Yes if you use this http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/ on windows to create it. Or this http://www.pendrivelinux.com/multiboot-create-a-multiboot-usb-from-linux/ on ubuntu.

+1 on the multisystem multi ISO usb booter, the windows one has some problems with specific defrags needing to be done.

Haha I was just about to edit so it was first. I usually assume the user is on windose out of habit when they ask for a bootable usb. I don't know why.. *babbles to self*

This sounds great and will be verty usefull. Final questinn can you do the same thing with a dvd, boot, multible iso's from a dvd?

I prefer USB flash drives.

I NOTICED while I was down loading Slax that there were two images to download, one for cd and a different one for usb stick which was a tar ball file. can they be inter changeed for stik or cd?
