Hi everyone! I am TechHut, and have started using Linux in 2003, then on and off (I was a ******* user from November 1998-October 2005). I finally switched completely to Ubuntu Linux because of it's price (free!), amount of features, and just ease of use. I have used Mandrake (Now Mandriva) Linux, but I really didn't like the fact that you needed to pay for a better version. Now for my suggestion:
I think that the (K/X/Ed)Ubuntu developers should take MythTV, and make a media center. I was thinking because if Windows can do it, so can Linux. the media center would make it a center point for families to gather around a TV, and enjoy media, from their home computer. Also, if you could consolidate the setting menus into one UI would be perfect.
