View Full Version : [ubuntu] Maximized Empathy Window Can't Be Resized

Hey all,

Fresh install of 12.04
Using the built in 'Empathy' chat client

After maximizing the chat window, the window controls are obscured behind the main menu bar (along the top of the screen, not the Unity launcher - see image (http://goo.gl/iwuhw)).

I can't figure out how to resize this window without access to those controls, so I am stuck with an overmaximized chat window. This is rather annoying, as it makes it very tedious to constantly switch back and forth between the contact list and the chat window. Restarting Empathy or Ubuntu does not help.

Help!

Move your cursor to the left side of upper panel bar and the window and close, minimum, maximum buttons and menu items will appear.
