gnome-shell mousewheel zoom

Hello,

I am trying to get the extension gnome-shell-mousewheel-zoom to work. I have installed it using the instructions on this page

But it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Not sure that that extension does but can I assume you already know that default gnome-shell zooms using the mouse wheel in the activities overview?

yes, I know that. I want the zoom mentioned in my post. worked like a charm in 11.10.

Funny. I have 12.04 at home on a laptop and at work. Mousewheel zoom works on my work computer but not on my laptop. Both worked perfectly in 11.10.

I don't know what the difference could be.
