guys..

i make ubuntu community in my town..
1 of my friend ask me how to install cinnamon in 10.04 ...???

i couldn't answer it cuz i know cinnamon can install in gnome 3..
but gnome 2...????

oke back to my topic
"can we install cinnamon in gnome 2" ..??

and how???

You'd have to install Gnome 3 first. You cannot install Cinnamon on Gnome 2. Cinnamon's whole point is to emulate Gnome 2, so if you're using it already, Cinnamon isn't really going to give you any more options than you already have.

It was possible to add the mint menu on 10.04 , but I don't Know if the PPA is still maintained. It could be moved to the bottom panel unlike the picture at the link. http://www.webupd8.org/2010/05/install-linux-mint-main-menu-mintmenu.html

so how to install gnome 3 on ubunt 10.04..?? i think can not

It was possible but highly unstable, but now the PPAs are not maintained (GNOME3 Team and Rico's ones have dropped support for natty a long time ago.)
