Hi Forum,

I was wondering how to install Linux in my PS2, and Which Ubuntu version will my PS support.

So, Anyone give me a hand here?

ps2 only sports 32mb of ram the processor is over 10 years old

not sure you can run Ubuntu per say on it at all how ever there are some much much older version which would most likely not be updatable but even more would only run shell no graphic gui desk top ..

I could be wrong if your PS2 has half gb of ram or more it might run ubuntu I would try this link

I would want to make sure i had a fairly good knowledge of commands line interface the orginal kit for this had a V90 modem pretty slow compaired to today standards and if you could get it going at all you would most likely have to find a very old version of lynx text browser not sure text only would be much today on the web though ..
oddly I dont think the PS2 has enough of what it takes to run webos type os on it
