Hi all,
As I introduced myself in the relevant thread, I am conducting a Master Thesis research on online community-based innovation, with a specific focus on Ubuntu.
My goal is to measure Ubuntu contributors' motivations to the Ubuntu project as a whole and to Ubuntu Brainstorm in particular, through a very short questionnaire. I would really appreciate it if you could offer five minutes of your time to fill it in.
Direct link to the questionnaire: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHY0VmF5STJaNzhucGc4QWtSaGRfeFE6M A
I will communicate on the results in June. I hope many of you will find the time to answer.
Thanks in advance,
Bastien
PS: If anyone is interested in my research, I will be very pleased to discuss it further.

Also done...although many of them were 'positive' questions, which made me agree with them. Not that I'm going to argue with a master's student...:P

Wish I would've been so smart to choose Ubuntu as a subject of my Master's thesis. :p

Thanks for your contributions, eight of you have already filled in the questionnaire!
If anyone would like to discuss the topic any further, I will be very pleased to include him/her in my qualitative interviews. :)
Thanks,
Bastien

I filled out the first page of the survey, but when the second page started asking about brainstorm and such --- I've never heard of it -- so all my questions would be a no or left blank -- unfortunately that's not really an option. No harsh feelings, but a poorly written survey unless this is a practice survey to further refine a future survey.

@kevdog: Point taken. The question has a twist "what motivates or could motivate you ...". Anyway, I changed the survey so that this question is no longer compulsory.
Thanks for your answers!

In what socio-professional category do you fall in?
I'm not sure that the choices for this question are really as polished as they could be.
As kevdog said is this a practice survey or the actual thing?

Thank you all, 24 answers up to now!
@chamber: the socio-professional category item is the translation of the French classification, and as I'm also conducting this survey in the French community, I need the same criteria for comparison.

Surely we can get more then 26 forum goers to assist with this. It won't take more than 5 minutes of your time ;)
