I have a problem when I go Shutdown or Restart, it goes to the purple splash screen with UBUNTU and the dots .... Well it locks up there and I have to do a manual reset using the reset button.
It doesn't do this all the time.
I have a fresh Ubuntu 12.04 x64 install with the AMD ATI proprietary drivers from the repositories.
It happens more frequently after installing my printer. I read other threads about this but no solution and some threads are getting old.
