Internet explorer does not work in Linux.

Use another browser such as Firefox or Chromium. Both of those are in the software center.

Under Linux you should use Firefox or Chrome/Chromium.

Wine has an implementation of IE for Linux, but it my experience it doesn't work very well. Wine is available for the Software Center and here is the info for their iexplore

If you absolutely must use IE, then you should look into Virtual Box and installing a full copy of windows to work under Linux.

Thank you for the prompt response. I am trying to evaluate MS Dynamics CRM Online. It requires IE 8. Obviously I am running Linux. I already have Oracle VM VirtualBox and can run windows, but gee, what a rigamorole.... I might try the option you mention. Thank you.

BTW, neither Firefox nor Chromium as work with the site I am trying to access.
