View Full Version : [SOLVED] Display issue on startup.

I'm having trouble with getting the display to work after installing 12.04 64bit.
I select Ubuntu from the grub list and it goes purple with blocks and lines all over.. and that's all it'll do. I'm running a msi n520gt. (overclockable version of nvidia 520gt)
any ideas? ? thank you!

Have you installed graphics drivers properly ? Its look like a VGA drivers problem . reinstall the drivers and then try again .

I actually relied on the CD drivers and didn't think anything about it. downloading and installing did the trick. I appreciate it!
