I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 in its own partition after win 7.
The install went fine, until i used the system updater.
Now Ubuntu 12.04 boots fine until it gets to the log in screen then it freezes, with no response from the keyboard. if i power down, and reboot choosing recovery mode it will recover sometimes and boot fine, but sometimes it won't.
Win7 home prem.
Acer Aspire 5250
3gb ram 250gb drive.
AMD radeon HD6250
AMD Dual core C50 processor
Windows boots fine.
Any ideas?
