Hi There,

I'm using 12.04 3D unity set-up with nVidia Prop drivers at the release version. I have decided to try and make my top menu transparent using: unsettings. The results while transparent have led to a ghosting of all applications running on the top menu as seen in the attached image. It will stack all background applications in black and the forefront one in white. Is there a way around this or is it down to transparency?

Many Thanks.

I somehow had the same problem. I use myunity and ubuntu tweaks to make the top bar transparent, but sometimes when I hover my mouse over the title the title of the window sometimes got stuck there. Then I stop using transparency and it hasn't happened again. I suggest using some themes like orion or adwaita cupertino. Those themes make your top bar look nicer than transperent :)
