I am using Ubuntu Precise.

Have a RHEL 6.2 VM using kvm. I am trying to get the Spice graphics adapter to work.

I have installed:
qemu-kvm-spice package
python-spice-client

I've looked all over for solutions to this issue, with no success.

Any help would be appreciated.

May I just mention that I think there are a lot of us who need an answer to this. I'm one but I see this question being asked all over the internet and no good answers. I've seen one bug report that seemed relevant but I found it difficult to connect the dots (a wee bit over my head, it was). If anyone can help I think you would be helping a lot of people, not just the o/p.

Thanks
