Dear friends,
(i´m cutting and pasting my previous post, no replies there)
I have Sony Vaio VGN-Fz250ae, and as i find out, overheating is a big problem, and off course my nvidia GPU (8400gt m) got busted (vertical lines working and vga mode only), got my windows 7 working with no acceleration on 1280x800 32 (sucks too much), after the most unpleasent experience... strikes me why not ubuntu? weeeeeeee....
Soo i got it working Ubuntu Desktop with "nomodeset" 1024x768 nice, after that i found Xubuntu desktop and got more desktop area,,,,, Finally the big question: is there any way to get 1280x800 with nomodeset?
Please help!!!
