Want a little text-editor there I can change colour on text-parts. I could also be good if I can open to documents and compare to text side by side. Libre office are to big I rhink.

seems like Gedit is all you want .
try something like below in a terminal .


gedit filename.txt
Happy editing .

I must be blind. Can't find how i change color in part of the text. ..

Under section "Using gedit for XML / Docbook XML" .

In gedit preferences you can have the "Font and Colors" tab .

In gedit preferences you can have the "Font and Colors" tab .

Font and color tab changes color and font for all text, not part of it. Think i need rtf-files to change part of text

Don't know if offers split-view or comparing of files..
