Just installed 12.04 with alternate cd. With normal cd i get an unrecoverable error after the possibility to import settings for my account. So with alternate cd it works. But now when running ubuntu i get the popup of additional drivers available. Its a driver for my video card ATI Radeon HD4600. When i install this driver and restart i only get a black screen with login in terminal mode. I cannot switch anymore to graphical mode. So the installed driver is not OK. I reinstalled 12.04 but without installing the graphics driver. So now is it posible to prevent the popup from appearing concerning additional drivers available?
