View Full Version : [gnome] 12.04 Upgrade: How to Fix Missing "Startup Applications" in User Menu? (Gnome Classic

Hi. I keep seeing guides and screenshots referring to accessing "Startup Applications" in 12.04 via the user menu at the end of the top panel. However, like the new "Privacy" app in "System Settings", I never got the updated menu with the upgrade to 12.04, so have to launch it via its command (gnome-session-properties).

How do I rectify this? Is some package missing, or in need of an update? Or is it because I'm using Gnome 3 Classic/Fallback (in 64-bit 12.04), rather than Unity? And if so, how do Classic users rectify this?

Since I can still run it, I suppose it isn't critical, but I'd still like to sort this out if I can.

Cheers.
