Hello,
apologies if this has been asked another way somewhere... I tried googling it, but couldn't find anything for my particular problem.
I have installed 12.04 server and I need to change the kernel to 3.0.0.12-generic. This probably sounds odd, but it's because I am creating a MythTV backend, and the DVB-T2 tuner card that I'm using (Blackgold BGT3650) will only work with this kernel (from Ubuntu desktop).
I have previously installed 11.10 and then installed the 3.0.0.12 kernel by typing at the CLI:
sudo apt-get install linux-image-3.0.0.12-generic linux-headers-3.0.0.12-generic
However, now I'm using 12.04 those packages are no longer available to me. Is there an easy way to do this? Being a server, I can only manipulate it via the CLI, so please instruct me using command line entry only...
Thanks to anyone who can help.
