From what I've read, the device can run Ubuntu, but that's not the same as the Ubuntu on Android link that you provided. Ubuntu on Android has not yet been released.

Ubuntu for Android will probably only come preinstalled with phones. No one can say if it will work with any hardware at this point.

There is no official release date yet.
