Amazing!
When I read the title, I thought you're referring to Open Source electronics (like Arduino for example). But anyway, that's also interesting. Still the 3D printers are rather expensive, but not as expensive as the were 4-5 years ago.
I read somewhere that nowadays even some of the big car manufacturers produce car parts this way - with 3D printing. Not all of the parts, but still this is going mainstream :lolflag:

In other news, Canonical has released its first open source hardware: VGA Switch (http://iloveubuntu.net/meet-vga-switch-first-open-hardware-project-released-ubuntu)
What an exciting year! I would buy that printer without a doubt if I had the resources.
