Hi !
After an extremely good experience with 11.10 64bit, I upgraded to 12.04 LTS.
Several packs errors, etc.. but now, its much more usable.
Due to my work (with several Virtual machines at same time) I upgraded the RAM from 4gigs to 8gigs.
The BIOS recognizes it, the Linux RAM tests at boot time works fine, makes me feel that its all right but no: With 8 gigs, the notebook becomes extremely slow (I measured times near 48x slower !!)
With any of the two 4gigs RAM modules, the note fly fast. With 8 gigs, almost hangs up!
Any help will be great.
Thanks
Alessandro
