nutch installation problem

hey guys i ve been trying to install nutch in my system,but i when i tried to create a new directory by giving the command
"sudo mkdir /nutch"
i got the following message
"nutch is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported."
can someone pls help me with this!!

I don't know the proper way to configure Nutch, but if you want to add the user "nutch" to the sudoers file, the link below might help.
