Just did a quick Wikipedia lookup, and the funny thing is that the Avengers (as in an elite team of heroes) is also introduced in the 60s.

Meh.. i wasn't knowing about avenger's introduction as a movie in 60's ! I thought this year is the only one which gave us their introduction! LOL
