[12.04] How to set different formats for date, currency...

I choose to have Ubuntu in english. In "Keyboard Layout" settings I can choose only between anglosaxon countries. How can I select different formats for date, time, currency etc.?

go to System Settings menu, and select the language preferences

Ah. Ok, done.
It's a bit confusing anyway... why you can select these settings in "Keyboard layout" too and not only in "Language support"?
