View Full Version : [xubuntu] Abiword & Document Viewer not using GTK theme

I have been using the French remix of Xubuntu called Voyager on another computer for a few months. I just installed Voyager/Xubuntu 12.04 yesterday on our main computer and I love it; except that Abiword and Document Viewer look terrible. All other apps look great. And on our other computer with Voyager 11.10 Abiword looks fine.
Does anyone know why this would be? Also - in my wife's secondary user account, Abiword looks better, but still a little odd.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Has anyone but me noticed that Abiword 2.9.2 is a little odd in 12.04?
You can't scroll in the document with a scrollwheel unless the cursor is on the scrollbar. And in older versions of Abiword (from xubuntu 11.10) those upside down 'Rs' are not there.
PS: I'm using the 'greybird' theme in Xubuntu.

Maybe it will get fixed one day. :)

Thanks.
It also does it in a couple of other Xubuntu themes. Would that effect the scrollwheel not working?
I need to find out how to reinstall Abiword 2.8!
