Go back to 11.10

I just installed 12.04 LTS a week ago and I don't like it. I want to go back to 11.10, but is there a way to do so without doing a complete reinstall? I got everything just the way I want it. I'd prefer to do it via Terminal; it makes my life easier.

I did this by installing from USB stick with the version 11.10 and choose to upgrade to 11.10 without modifying my settings, files, etc. in the installation menu. It's pretty fast that way.
