I have upgraded two machines to 12.04 from 11.10. All 64-bit versions and went fine. However, I am waiting to upgrade my notebook till the Bumblebee project releases a stable version for 12.04.
In that time, I wanted to find if upgrading my notebook, which uses an SSD as its primary drive, will overwrite the many little things I did to prepare the OS for SSD. Or, will it honor existing settings?
I expect the upgrade to go as smoothly the 2 other machines, but having to redo SSD settings worries me.
