I have two systems - one I installed Xubuntu 12.04 on fresh, which displays the Xubuntu logo on the greeter screen.
The other was upgraded from 11.10, and instead of the Xubuntu logo on the greeter screen, it displays a generic PC icon.
I have looked in /etc/lightdm/* but I don't see differences between the "correct" system and the other.
I understand the update-alternatives system but the only one that seems to apply is lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf (which is pointing to the one for xubuntu).
I have other desktops (including Unity) installed on the system that is not displaying properly.
Any advice?
