View Full Version : [ubuntu] Dconf-tool, Xcursor and cursor size in Ubuntu 12.04

Hi...

I installed dconf-tools and made an ~/.Xresources file to get a cursor size 32.

I know that the cursor will only show the proper size in Firefox and other apps until the system is restarted when the cursor should resize to the proper size no matter where I place it on the screen.

Well, I followed the instructions about resizing the cursor. It worked like a charm on 11.10. Now, on 12.04 the cursor changes to the desired size whenever I am in Firefox or another app. However, when I place the cursor on a title bar it changes back to the system's default size.

For some reason the system is not recognizing the change.

I created the ~/.Xresources file, I installed dconf-tools and chose the size I wanted and have rebooted several times.

What am I missing here?

Thanks for your help...

Gary
