upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04 via alternate cd

Hi all, I am planning on upgrading from 11.10 to 12.04. In the past when I;ve done an upgrade I've always just donwloaded the alternate disc and usded the package upgrade scrip on the disk.

Are there any issues doing the upgrade this way rather than the standard online way?

no change, but unetbootin+mini-iso is easier is your net link is not too slow

what is unetbootin+mini-iso mean? is that something different than making a bootable USP from the ISO? and essentually upgrading from the USB like I've done before off the alternate disk or is it something different?
