I just started using Eclipse for Java programming. Initially when I browse through a class and you mouse over the methods that pop up a description would come up. This doesn't happen anymore. (ie. type Math. and a list of methods pop up.)

I use Ubuntu 10.04. I'm just learning so this feature is important and alot easier than looking it up on the oracle site. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Solved

Don't install from repositories. You will not get the latest version and weird stuff can happen. Get it from the eclipse website unless you are using 12.04. You'll also need to install a jdk if you are working with java.
