Hi
I'm trying to upgrade Xubuntu 11.10 to 12.04 via the alternate CD, but even though I choose the option not to download updates from the network, it appears it's downloading everything from the Internet.
If I pull the network lead before I start, the upgrade fails with messages that it can't access Ubuntu domains. This is despite the fact that the upgrader says that if you choose the option not to download updates "the network is not used at all".
Anyone else had this problem?
