View Full Version : [SOLVED] HELP: How to get 12.04 upgrade to complete? - need rsync cups cron atd to restart

I have the following information in the alert box:
Debconf on colin-System
Configuring libc6
Services to restart for GNU libc library upgrade:
rsync cups cron atd

And the the last lines in the terminal are:
Checking for services that may need to be restarted...
Checking init scripts...
WARNING: init script for samba not found.

It's been sitting like this for hours. (I was sleeping and briefly woke hours ago and saw it like this.) What do I do to get this upgrade to complete?

Never mind, just realized the alert box has a "Forward" button on it. I don't care about restarting cups at the moment, so just clicked "Forward" and the install continued.

I'm posting this anyway in case it helps anyone.
