repositioning the launcher bar in 12.04 LTS

hey guys! i'm just wondering how i would be able to put the launcher bar at the bottom of my screen instead of having it on the side like it always is. do i have to install a special theme to have that option or is there an option in the settings that allows me to do that? thanks!!

There's a ppa for adding the Unity Launcher at the bottom, but I don't think it works with Precise.
