Hi All,
Can anybody advise what I could try here.
I have a PC hooked up to my TV with an Nvidia GT520 display card and connected to my TV with a HDMI cable.
When I boot from the Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64 CD I get through the BIOS and to the initial purple Ubuntu screen.
Here if I am quick enough I can press ESC and get to a menu with I can boot, install, do the mem checks and stuff.
As it is booting my display turns off with an error "unsupported display"
If I boot with an Ubuntu 11.04 CD then I get to the screen where I can select "Install Ubuntu" or "Try Ubuntu without installing"
I can select either option and I don't have any problems.
Are there any boot commands I can use which might get me around the unsupported display error?
Regards
