I sent a couple of PM's about this but until it's fixed you should know that the release notes link in the release announcement (https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-announce/2012-April/000159.html) takes you here:
http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/releasenotes
I'd think it should take you here:

actually, the intermediate link between those...
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PrecisePangolin/ReleaseNotes
is better yet.. as you can then choose which edition of 12.04 to read notes on.

I found this post when doing a google search for
precise release notes
None of the links mentioned here shows up in the google results. Nor are any of them pointed to from the top result hit, which is the Edubuntu notes:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PrecisePangolin/ReleaseNotes/Edubuntu
I wonder how to improve the SEO for this important information.

I don't know what to say :(
I found the release notes hard to find based on the release announcements but I now know to start here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PrecisePangolin/ReleaseNotes
I did PM several members of the release team but they paid no attention to me.
