cannot install

i am getting error when installing says no texts /casper/vmlinux:file not found , anyone any ide what the problem is please and how i can fix it

vmlinuz is ubuntu's kernel-it's probably a good thing the installation failed, as the machine would not boot without a kernel.

Have you tried re-downloading the iso and md5/check summing it? It's possible your installation media became corrupt.
