So the other day i was browsing around the web looking for useful utilities to use for my computer support class, when i stumbled across something called LiberKey. One way to describe it would be to say its like a Linux LiveCD, except that it only launches programs and is not a full featured OS. It works by being installed to a USB stick and any programs you add to it (the website has a list of compatible apps as well as a degree of cloud syncing) show up in the menu based launcher. What makes it great is that, like a LiveCD, it can run on any computer (albeit Windows computer, though i guess you could use WINE if really wanted to). Some of the apps include Firefox, Thunderbird, the full version of LibreOffice, CrystalMark benchmarking tools, registry cleaners, uninstallers, and pretty much every kind of tool you could possibly need while fixing a Windows computer. another cool thing is that it automatically notifies you of updates for whatever program you have installed. i have found this program to be incredibly useful and thought i would share it here. heres the link: http://www.liberkey.com/

Isn't it similar to PortableApps.com Flatform (http://portableapps.com/download)?
